Voluntary Return Flights for Sudanese in Libya From Tomorrow

SMC- The Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Karibullah Al-Khader, announced the voluntary return flights for Sudanese in Libya on Tuesday, August 7th.He pointed out that the number of documents extracted for those wishing to return reached 222 documents.Khader said that the Sudanese embassy in Tripoli has started field visits to the accommodation centers of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Authority in Tripoli and its environs to inspect the situation of the Sudanese detained in these centers.He pointed out that this comes within the framework of the efforts of the government and the fulfillment of its moral and humanitarian commitment to combat illegal immigration.He said that the Embassy has been conducting tours to inspect the situation of the Sudanese citizens detained in these centers in Tripoli and its environs, based on the existing coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).He added that during the visits, the meeting was held with the Sudanese and conveyed to the attention of the senior leadership in Khartoum their situation, and therefore conducted the necessary investigations and issuance of travel documents for those willing to return voluntarily to Sudan.He pointed out that these efforts concluded with the agreement to conduct voluntary return flights to Sudan from Tuesday, 7 August 2018.
