Government Delegation: Sudan Call is Stalling to Implement the Road Map Items

SMC- The government delegation for negotiations accused the Sudan Call for procrastination on the implementation of the road map items.
The delegation described the  proposals submitted by the head of the African Union High Level Implementation Panel (AUHIP) Thambo Mbeki to the alliance as a new opportunity to pursue peaceful solutions.
Hussein Hamdi, the member of the negotiations delegation told (smc) that Sudan’s Call  stalling in the implementation of the map,which enable it to catch up with the national dialogue.
He  noted that there are some items in the road map and related to the national dialogue became out-of-date, adding, the dialogue has been completed and issued as document so there was no justification for linking it to other agreements.
Hamdi stressed that the proposal for mediation on participation in the Constitution is a great service to Sudan Call in general and to the Umma Party in particular, whose president Sadiq al-Mahdi calling for dialogue and constitutional conference, considering that mediation gave them a chance and opportunity to achieve their goals.
