Al Bashir Pledges Establishment of Development Projects at Voluntary Return Areas in Darfur

Najat Ahmed Khartoum-President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir has pledged completion of the weapons collection campaign as he directed changing the IDPs camps in Dafur to planned houses that are provided with all services.
President Al Bashir, addressing a mass rally at Kas Locality, South Darfur State, Friday stressed the importance of application of mandatory basic education.
The President sent a message to the armed movements, which he described as the last one, to join the peace process.
Al Bashir expressed commitment to the demands made by the citizens of Kas locality, including establishment of two colleges for Holy Quran and Natural Resources and elevating Kas area to a town.
Meanwhile, President Al Bashir also addressed Friday returnees at Sania Sunta area in South Darfur State, saying that displacement, relief and handouts do not match the characteristics of the Sudanese people, stressing that Sudan has remained since a long time ago a safe haven for citizens from other countries.
He pledged establishment of more development and service projects at all areas of voluntary return in Darfur and provision of security and stability there to realize decent life for the returnees.
