Foreign Ministry: CAR Peace Agreement will be Present in AU Summit

SMC- The African Union’s Peace and Security Council and Sudanese mediation will brief the African leaders on the Khartoum agreement for peace in CAR during the African Union summit in Addis Ababa, the Sudan’s foreign ministry said.
In statement to SMC, Sudan’s Foreign Minister Dardari Mohamed Ahmed said that the peace agreement signed in Khartoum between the CAR’ government and oppositions put an end to the people of CAR suffer, noting that the agreement contributes to stop the bleeding wars and conflict between the Bangui’s factions.
In the same context, the Sudanese mediator to the negotiations, Ambassador Atta Mannan Bakhit said that the African Peace and Security Council will adopt the peace agreement signed between the government of Bangui and the factions then provide it to the African leaders during the African summit and presented it to the United Nations for final approval.
